La desinformación sobre la aplicación de la normativa y la falta de criterio o rigor en la selección de materiales y proveedores, está dando muchos disgustos a los técnicos y responsables de instalaciones sujetas a la Directiva al estar recibiendo productos no marcados, no conformes ó de dudosa calidad que comprometen gravemente la seguridad de las plantas y de sus operadores que adquieren a titulo personal responsabilidades exigibles por ley.
Recomendamos que para todos los aparatos, accesorios e instalaciones sujetas a la Directiva Europea de Aparatos a Presión especifiquen claramente al comprador el nivel de calidad exigible y al proveedor la cualificación y certificaciones necesarias aplicables.

Application Norm CE 97/23 CE (P.E.D.):
The disinformation about the application of guidelines and the lack of criteria and rigour in selecting materials and suppliers is causing serious trouble for technicians and those in charge of installations subject to the Directive by receiving white label products or products which do not conform or are of doubtful quality. This is seriously compromising the security of plants and their operators, because they personally acquire responsabilities making them liable.
We recommend that for all equipment accessories and installations subject to the European Directive on High Pressure Equipment the buyer receives clear explanations about the level of quality required. Equally we recommend that the supplier receives clear explanations about the approvals and certificates necessary.
